Laura attended Western Illinois University in 1991 to 1993 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Finance.
From there, she has received the Certified Financial Planner Designation (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Certified Fund Specialist (CFS), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations.
She holds a Series 7, Series 6, Series 63, Series 65 Securities Registrations, as well as a Life and Health Insurance Producer's License. In addition, she is licensed in Property and Casualty, and Long-Term Care Insurance. Laura is able to charge fees for financial planning.
Laura enjoys spending time with her husband Rich of 24 years and their 2 boys, Ricky and Ryan. They are involved with Bruins Hockey, YMCA Basketball, and Boy Scouts. When her family has free time they love to ski/snowboard, walk their golden retriever Ginger, and work on their treehouse in Michigan. Laura has served on council of her church and volunteers for many causes. In addition, she is a member of the western suburban chapter of the women's organization called EPWNG (The Exclusive Professional Women’s Networking Group).
